The Friends of Natick Drama Workshop collaborate to bring life to the efforts of the participants and professional staff involved with the NDW program. NDW continues to be unique in that it provides families with an opportunity for involvement. Our greatest challenge is to encourage this involvement and provide a nurturing environment for the families of our participants. While we operate under constant and tight deadlines and must ‘get the job done’, we do not want to lose focus on the basic mission of our organization… to support the Town of Natick’s Recreation Department offering of the Natick Drama Workshop program.

Attendance

Make the Show Happen

I understand that the board is expected to do whatever it takes to make the shows happen. Board members need to be available to assist with weekly rehearsal coverage, Tech Week and Production weekend. (Plan on being available the entire weekend of the shows.)

Registration, Auditions, and the Workshop

I understand that I am expected to assist with the Workshop and Audition for both the Fall and Spring programs.

Time Commitment

I understand that the work undertaken by the board will most likely require a commitment of my time outside of the monthly meetings, rehearsals, etc.

Confidentiality

I understand the business of this board is to be held confidential.

Prerequisites

I understand that the Natick Recreation and Parks Department has, in the past, allowed the (eligible) children of board members to pre-register for the NDW program. They have extended this courtesy in recognition of our broad efforts in supporting the NDW program.

I understand that this privilege can be revoked at their discretion.

I understand that my involvement on the board will not result in better roles for my child or favoritism in anyway.
